The Rain's Now Gone

Wed Jun 21, 2006, 9:37 AM
"For believe me: the secret for harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and greatest enjoyment is - to live dangerously."
- Friedrich Nietzsche

UPDATES!:

My perceptions are quite clear now. But now i'm confronted with the simple truth...my thoughts are keeping me from accomplishing extraordinary feats.
But how can I do the impossible?

visions of a world of corruption,
nearly devoid of all life force.

I've been stricken with a creative illness. My bi-polarness seems to be bringing be to another slew of mania weeks. I'm starting to work on the fashion show for 2007, its influenced by of course, my favorite designer Yves St. Laurent, among other various designers such as Alexander McQueen & John Galliano.

Poetry - i'm taking a VERY progressive turn in my poetry now, gathering inspiration from the 1920s surrealist poets i.e. Andre Brenton, the beat poets of the 50's and 60's i.e. Kerouac, and of course, the classics of William Blake, Poe, and Arthur Rimbaud.

I'm also drawing some from Philosophy such as Immanuel Kant, Plato, and Fredrich Neitzsche, and taking up some more obscure topics such as metaphysics, shamanism, and greek mythology.

The role of the artist is both the shaman and the scapegoat. The audiences project their fantasies onto him, & lived them vicarously through him, in the end, condemning him with his courage to live his fantasies, they themselves were too fearful to attempt.

such kindness is not bestowed on the writer in his candle-lit room.
